PdVega can be installed with

$ pipenv install pdvega

$ pipenv run jupyter nbextension install --sys-prefix --py vega3

    To initialize this nbextension in the browser every time the notebook (or other app) loads:

          jupyter nbextension enable vega3 --py --sys-prefix

Dependencies

To be able to save plots as PNG or SVG, the command line tools vl2png and vl2svg from the vega-lite-npm package must be available.
